This drill bit is expensive since I’ve tried asking its price in a mall store. However, I don’t know the average price of this drill bit. A yahoo!answers user know its average price.

This question is somewhat a result of curiosity. Personally, I am also willing to know if diamond drill bits are made of real diamond. Consider the answers of a yahoo!answers user.
They are not actually made of diamond, but have diamond particles bonded to carbide. Diamond being the hardest thing in the environment is the reason it is used for working on the toughest surfaces. It is used for cutting/grinding stone, ceramics, glass, marble, etc…
